DAW Devices III

The Motor Mix console

motor mix console

This is basically a physical interface which allows you to use the virtual mixing board on a multi-track recording program. Usually it is set up to work in Protools, but you can make it available in the other audio-recording programs by holding down the shift button and turning it off then back on.

The Keyboard

The DAW keyboard is primarily used as a MIDI controller, so you don't really need to worry about all of the buttons and knobs.  One feature you might use is the octave up/down buttons.  Otherwise, just make sure that it is on.
