You can search for posts in GoPost using the search feature. Searching will look through the content of a post, user names, and certain attachments. GoPost can search within the content or metadata of these file types: .doc, .ppt, .pdf, .mp3, .html, .rtf, .txt, .xls, and .xml.

1. Access the GoPost message board you want to search.
2. In the space provided, below the global navigation, type the keywords you want to search.
To search for all posts by a participant, enter "user:" followed by the participant's screen name. Leave no space after the colon. Spaces in screen names should be typed as "-" characters. To search for all posts by a participant including a particular word, add that work after the screen name. For example, "user:cool-one cat" where "cool one" is the screen name and "cat" is the particular word being searched for within the user's posts.
3. Click Search. You will move to the search results page.
4. The search results page shows all matches of your search query.
