Copy a Discussion Board

Copying a board allows you to duplicate the structure of a board. The original board remains intact with its conversations available for your reference online. The copy is structurally identical but does not contain any of the conversations or posts from the original board.

To copy a discussion board, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Catalyst account. Learn how to log in.
  2. Click GoPost in the menu at the left. You will move to the GoPost home page.
  3. Find the discussion board you want to copy and click Copy at the far right.
  4. On the Copy Board page, give the new board a name. You may copy over scheduled availability events and administrator and moderator settings if you set these up on the original board.
  5. Click Copy board when you are done. Or, click Cancel to stop and return to the GoPost home page.
