Saving a File

Help Center > Adobe ImageReady > Saving a File

Saving your files and publishing your files is made easy by ImageReady. Just follow these steps:

Saving your document

  • If you are working on any project and wish to save it in a .psd format. Go to File > Save As
  • Saving your document as a .psd will insure that you can open the project back up and maintain any layers or other elements your were working on. Saving your file as a .psd is a good back up incase you need to make any changes later on.

Publishing your document for the Web

  • To save for the Web go to File > Save Optimized As in the format choose HTML and Images. This will save your document a .HTML file and your images in a corresponding folder.
  • If you wish to change any of the default setting of Publishing go to File > Output Settings. in this dialogue box you will find all the elements you may wish to change when publishing your document for the Web.

For further information on uploading your images into an HTML file check out the HTML curriculum.
