Edit a Peer Review Forum

Help Center > Peer Review Help Center > Edit a Peer Review Forum
This document explains how to edit the configuration of a previously-created Peer Review.

Enter the Peer Review Edit menu.

From the Peer Review main menu choose "Edit a Peer Review" and click "Next".

Edit your Peer Review.

On the Peer Review Edit menu, choose which Peer Review you would like to edit from the drop-down menu. Once you have selected a Peer Review, you may choose to make changes to any of the sections that you configured during the creation of your Peer Review. Select a section, and then click "Next". When you finish making changes to a section, be sure to click "Next" to save your changes.
  • Edit basic information: change basic information about your Peer Review such as the title, URL back to homepage, comment display options, and whether this Peer Review is for a class.
  • Edit class information: Make changes to information about your class, such as the SLN number, department abbreviation, course number, and section.
  • Edit participant groups: Edit your participant group and groups for the selected Peer Review.
  • Edit assignments: Change the assignments for the selected Peer Review. From this option you may either edit an existing assignment or add a new one.
  • Edit security information: Change the Peer Review's security options. All the options available to you when you first created your Peer Review will be available from this screen, except pseudonym preferences. You are not allowed to alter pseudonym preferences to protect the privacy of participants who comment with the understanding that their comments will be anonymous.
  • Edit instructions: Make changes to the instructions for the selected Peer Review.
  • Edit or delete comments by a participant: Edit the comments of your Peer Review participants.
  • Enter comments in the Peer Review: Edit the comments of participants in the Peer Review area itself. When you select this option, you'll be sent to the "student side" of the Peer Review. You will, however, be able to edit or delete participant comments (unlike the participants).
If one or more participants have already submitted documents to your Peer Review, you will not be able to change from one of the UW NetID security types to one of the non-UW NetID types or vice versa. Doing so will render all existing participant documents non-viewable by the participants. The system will automatically remove the security options that will cause this conflict and therefore you may not see all five security options when editing a Peer Review that has already had documents submitted to it.
