From the "Insert" menu in the layout area to which you want to add the global content or global navigation, select Global Content or Global Navigation. The global page element toolbar will appear in the layout area.

  5. Click Save to save changes to your Web page. To see what the global content or navigation looks like in your page, click Preview.
Some of the layout areas of the enhanced templates apply special formatting to global navigation. The header, subheader, and footer layout areas arrange the links in global navigation horizontally, while the columns arrange the links vertically. In addition, the header, subheader, and left and right columns put a boxed border around the link.
