A quick step to take after designing the first few versions of the page is to step back and ask the question, "Does it make sense?" It is a good idea to ask this question after taking a significant break from working on the site. A weekend between working on the site and reviewin this issue would be great, but a night of good sleep would probably suffice.

The point of this is to get your head out of trenches, and to look at the big picture of the site now that it is taking form. Think about the overall design - does it fit the content of your site? Do the colors match the mood of the content? Is the navigation scheme appropriate for the site? Is the site as professional as the client expects it to be?
