Provide your participants (students) with a set of Web pages that step them through the process of collecting and reflecting on their work. Each project page is interactive, not only providing questions or instructions to guide participants, but also allowing them to work directly in the page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do participants (students) access my portfolio?

Once you have distributed a portfolio to students, they can access it by opening a Web browser and going to http://portfolio.washington.edu and logging in with their UW NetID.

How do I view a participant's published portfolio?

Each published portfolio has a URL, typically http://portfolio.washington.edu/uwnetid/title , where uwnetid and title are replaced with the participant's actual information. Please ask the participant to provide you with the URL for the published portfolio you wish to view.

Do newer submissions of a student portfolio overwrite older submissions?

Portfolio does not store previous versions of student portfolios. Every time a student submits their portfolio for your review, it overwrites that which is already submitted. However, if you wish to keep a student's previous work for comparison, it is possible to download it to your desktop.
