Microsoft Access is a powerful database management tool, widely used both in higher education and in business. Access makes it possible for even amateur programmers to create functional databases. In this beginning workshop, you will learn how to build a simple database, manage data, and create queries.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is a helpful and powerful program for data analysis and documentation. In this introductory workshop, you will learn how to input data, apply relevant formulas, and visually represent your results with graphics and charts. Other topics covered include using the chart wizard, formatting cells and columns, and sorting data.
