Adobe Illustrator is a powerful graphic design and drawing program that will help you create images or documentation with an artistic touch. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of working with Illustrator, as well as some advanced functions such as navigating the toolbar, creating text and shapes, working with swatches, brushes, symbols, and using the pen tool. Use the skills gained in this workshop to create graphic artwork for posters, t-shirts, or even card designs.

robust program will help you enhance your photographs and images, and
give your work a professional edge. In this introductory workshop, you
will learn how to navigate Photoshop's toolbars and pallets, create
text, use the paint brush and selection tools, work with layers, and

Microsoft PowerPoint
With Microsoft PowerPoint, you can create digital slide
presentations. In this workshop, you will learn how to organize and
prepare slide presentations, add animations, complement your visuals
with sound clips and, most importantly, avoid PowerPoint abuse. Other
topics include using transitions, editing master slides, and using
action buttons. You can apply these techniques to enhance your next
class presentation.

Adobe Flash II: Flash For the Web
Adobe Flash is an advanced authoring environment for creating interactive Web sites. In this workshop, you will learn to create the basic components for a personal Web site, such as rollover buttons, links, and an interactive banner. You will also learn to add actions to a Web site and learn basic action scripting. Participants must have a working knowledge of topics covered in the Introduction to Flash workshop.

Adobe ImageReady
ImageReady is Adobe's solution for the graphics-minded Web master. Included with Photoshop, ImageReady allows graphics to be optimized and formatted for the Web in a variety of ways. In this workshop, you will learn to create banners, image maps, rollovers, image maps, and slices -- all components of professional-looking Web sites. Participants should have a basic knowledge of Photoshop.

photos. In part two of the Photoshop workshop, you will learn to use
some of the more advanced features for image editing, such as using

a working knowledge of the topics covered in Photoshop I.
